Lovely little restaurant and the food was amazing. I loved it. We didn't book but the staff were very helpful and squeezed us in - and I'm really glad they did. Definitely a go to place. The photo of the stone is after we'd cooked everything. Delicious.
Came to Grasmere for a weekend away with my partner. Looked everywhere for a nice place to eat in Keswick. My partner is a lover of steak so I gave the restaurant a call for a table, they were more than happy to wait for us to arrive despite closing soon. We were greeted by a lovely, friendly man and we're seated straight away. A young man came and took our food and drink order. We ordered our food which arrived in great time. Everything we ate that night was good quality, tasty and the whole night was just perfect. My partner hasn't stopped talking about his meal and we will definitely be back when we are next over that way. Nothing was too much trouble, thank you very much and glad to hear you are expanding! Well deserved. Bravo!
Lovely meal. You cook your stake yourself on a hot stone at your table. Variety of sift and alcoholic drinks inc champagne.Need to book in.Enjoy
Nice change for a restaurant and great meat with the added advantage that you cook it just as you want it. Tables are limited so best to book early in advance.
Lovely steaks. Quite a fast dinning experience. Only criticism would be that your veg arrives too quickly and is cold by the time the meat is cooked. We ended up sitting the veg on the lava rock to reheat.
