Very lovley, warm welcome and gorgeous food. Always a treat, mid range to expensive costs. The railway carriage dining is very special atmosphere too.
Had our meal in one of train carriages was lovely comfy and special. Staff were warm and attentive. Food was brilliant tasty and cooked beautiful.
Fantastic. Asked for a first class carriage and was not a problem. Lso advised it was my dad's 80th birthday and forgot the cake . Was not a problem they put a candle in his desert and sang him happy birthday. Everyone enjoyed their lunch, plenty of veg. Will definitely be returning. Unfortunately didn't get the young lads name but his service and help was impeccable.
Fined in one of the carriages, as a party of 6adults and 2 children and ate from the lunch menu. The starters were delicious as were the mains. The lemon meringue we had as dessert was not the best which was a shame after such nice initial courses. Special shout out to the pate- delicious!
Lovely lunch at a reasonable price with a good choice of menu. Efficient service. Only down side was that the main room was cold. The radiators were hot but I suspect that they need some more. It was 8 degrees outside so hardly the depths of winter.
